Sitting on his recliner in his favorite room, quietly reading a good book. He is surrounded by all the things he loves: a roaring fire, music in the background, family photos, a copy of Magritte's "The False Mirror", his pet fish, a cup of hot cocoa and his beloved dog.
About Olga Silverman
A FEW WORDS ABOUT ME: Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. Born and raised in New York, I spent years working as a graphic artist for the training division of a bank. Over the years, I have also done freelance work, creating newsletters, brochures, manuals and advertising for various organizations. But, painting and drawing was what I enjoyed during my free time. As I continued working, that time was limited and I found myself doing less and less of my favorite pastime. Having recently retired, I have gone back to my artwork and have not stopped yet. I have exhibited some of my artwork at the Mystic Outdoor Art Festival, the Brooklyn Heights Promenade Art Show, the Great Neck Library, the Sea Cliff Arts & Crafts...
